The Eden Superior Set can now only be worn up to level 95: the best free set from the Eden Group (armor, boots, hood, ring, hairpin and all the Superior Set weapons) can no longer be equipped from level 96 onward. The idea is to give Eden back the role it always had: a helping hand to get you a bit closer to the end-game of your dreams, not the final stop. On the stretch toward 99, we want each class to explore the alternatives out there and build its own path to end-game gear, instead of parking on the free set. The description of each piece now shows the line "Max Level: 95".
🧚 Rebirth Companions
Your companion now hides along with you: when a reborn hero uses Hiding, Cloaking or another concealment skill, the fairy (or succubus) that accompanies them also vanishes from everyone's sight, instead of staying visible at your side giving away your position. When you reappear, it comes back with you.
🔥 Campfires
Resting at the campfire has been rebalanced: sitting by a campfire now gives +20% SP recovery and +2% HP every 5 seconds (before it was +25% and +5%). The duration (30 minutes) stays the same.
Prontera Campfire: It is no longer lit all the time. Now everyone has to gather 30 Glowing Logs to light it (anyone can deposit their share), and once complete it stays lit for 4 hours.
The campfires around the world now have a life of their own: the campfires scattered across the fields and dungeons light up and go out on their own throughout the day (each one stays lit for about 8 hours a day, mostly at night, peaking between 6 PM and midnight, but varying), and they no longer need Glowing Logs to be lit.
🔄 Compensation Reset (Assistant Alice)
When a change affects a class, Alice may release a free reset just for it: whenever a balance adjustment directly touches a specific class, Assistant Alice (in the Eden Group) may make available, for a limited time and with a notice in the global announcement, a full free reset for those of that class. It resets your stats and skills and lets you redistribute your training perks (your training level is kept, so you pick the perks again at the Training NPC at the same level you already had). It is valid once per character and works only for the announced class.
Heads up: this reset exists exclusively as compensation for changes that impact a class. It is not a free reset service available at any time; it only shows up when we announce a compensation for your class.
🎵 Bards and Dancers
The Bard's and Dancer's headgears hit at full area strength again: the Melodic Hat and the Oracle's Scarf (in the perpetual, unstable and boxed versions) had their damage restored to what it was before. From refine +7, the damage bonus of Melody Strike (Bard) and Slinging Arrow (Dancer) goes back to +75% (it was at +50%), and the damage dealt to enemies around the target goes back to the skill's full damage (100%, it was halved).
Why we reverted: the damage cut applied a few patches ago ended up taking too much strength away from these two classes, leaving the Bard's and Dancer's area builds below what we consider healthy for their role in party and in the field. We prefer to return the power to its original level rather than keep these classes weakened.
We will keep watching: this rollback is not necessarily the final word. We will monitor how Bards and Dancers perform with the restored damage and, if it turns out too strong or too weak, we will make new adjustments and let you know here.
🃏 Status Resistance Cards
The headgear cards that gave status resistance now give full immunity (and also gained a stat): that group of cards that reduced the chance of suffering a bad status by 20% became complete protection. Each one blocks 100% of its effect and also gives +1 to a stat:
Stinker Card: Silence immunity, DEF +1 and DEX +1.
Stalactic Golem Card: this one keeps its 20% Stun resistance (full stun immunity would be too strong for a regular headgear card), but gained +1 VIT alongside the DEF +1.
✝️ Holy Cross
Holy Cross now triggers the Ground Exterminator Card: since it is a melee physical strike, the Crusader's Holy Cross now correctly counts for the effects that depend on melee kills. In practice, anyone using the Ground Exterminator Card (the one that returns 10 SP for every monster defeated by a melee physical attack) recovers SP again when finishing off the enemy with Holy Cross. Before, the server treated the skill as if it were long range and the card did not trigger.
🛠️ Stability
Fixed a server freeze during combat: in certain situations involving Acid Terror cast by monsters (such as Am Mut), the server could freeze and drop everyone at once. We found the exact cause and fixed it, so this freeze no longer happens.
