🛠️ Stability
- The rubber band that got worse the longer the server stayed up has been eliminated at the root: that stutter when walking, where your character took a few steps and was pulled back, and that grew stronger the more hours the server accumulated, had a specific origin inside the server. We found that exact source: an internal buildup that kept growing and got heavier every second, and was only cleared when we restarted, which is why restarts gave temporary relief and the problem always came back. We have now eliminated that buildup for good. Performance stays stable even after many days online, with no restart needed to unstick it.
🎯 Skill area indicator (@lgp)
- The area indicator now covers many more skills: @lgp, which draws the exact area of area-effect skills on the ground so you can see right away where they hit, has been greatly expanded and now marks the area of many more skills beyond the first ones, along with a more robust cleanup that leaves no leftover markings on the screen. It remains optional and purely cosmetic: each player turns it on for their own screen with @lgp on and off with @lgp off, without changing anything about the fight.
🛡️ Items
- The Abyss Orb Shield III is reducing skill cooldowns again: the orb promises to shorten the interval between one skill and the next, but it was doing the opposite and increasing that interval. Now it really reduces it, as the description says: 2% base, 4% with the equipment at +7 or +8, and 6% at +9 or +10.
✨ Visuals
- Your own Rebirth aura now shows in the right color for you too: those who have been reborn have the level 99 aura in a special color, but on your own screen it sometimes appeared in a plain blue (because of a portal, map change or @refresh), while others already saw you in the right color. Fixed: your aura stays in your color all the time, including for you.
- Homunculi stopped copying the color of your Rebirth aura: homunculi, mercenaries, elementals and max-level pets appeared with the Rebirth aura in the color of whoever was looking. Now their aura stays neutral and no longer follows your color.
