🧍 Character Bazaar: trade an entire character for Cash Points
- The Character Bazaar has arrived: you can now sell an entire character, with everything they wear and carry, for Cash Points. To put a character up for sale, talk to the Marketplace Manager in Prontera (the same one from the item Marketplace).
- Everything that belongs to the character goes along with them: equipment, inventory, Zeny, pet and all progress (rebirth, training, platinum, skills). What belongs to the account stays with you: storage, bank, Cash, Pass and VIP.
- Bids are placed here on the website, on the Bazaar page. You bid above the current value and lead with it; if someone outbids you, your Cash is returned immediately. Want to lock it in right away? Use Buy Now.
- When you win the auction, the character is moved to your account automatically, so leave a character slot free to receive it. Listing a character has a fixed listing fee, and a completed sale has a small commission.
⚗️ Alchemist: compact potions count toward the Alchemist Ranking
- Crafting Compact White Potion or Compact Blue Potion did not give points in the Alchemist Ranking. Only condensed potions scored.
- Now each crafting counts as one successful preparation, the same way a condensed potion does. The whole batch is worth one preparation, not one per unit produced.
- Compact potions already come signed by whoever prepared them, so with the fame fixed they also get the crafter bonus: a potion prepared by an Alchemist in the top 10 of the Alchemist Ranking heals 50% more for whoever uses it.
🎨 Stylist: the headgear color is now stored on the piece, not on the character
- Fixed a bug where the color chosen at the Stylist stayed tied to the character instead of the item: when you sold, traded, mailed or simply equipped the recolored piece on another character of the account, the look went back to the default.
- Now the color is stored on the piece itself and travels with it: trade, sell or mail it and the new owner receives exactly the color you chose.
- To recolor, the piece needs to be equipped (the Stylist needs to know which copy of the item you want to change, since you can now have more than one with different colors).
🐜 Maya's Lair: the daily run counts on entry, and the party goes up to 5
- The 20-hour lock on Maya's Lair was only recorded when the party defeated Maya at the end. Anyone who entered and did not finish left without spending the day's run, and could repeat the lair without limit to farm Crystallized Abyssalite in the waves.
- Now the run counts the moment the party enters, win or lose. Crusader Ron warns you about this before opening the passage.
- The party now accepts up to 5 adventurers (it was 3), for those who want to build a team and bring along someone who is just starting out.
- So that the lair does not turn into a stroll with a full party, the size of the waves follows the size of the team: parties of 2 or 3 face the challenge exactly as before, and parties of 4 or 5 face more monsters per wave.
🗡️ Back Stab counts as a melee strike again
- Back Stab was being treated as a ranged attack because of the skill's range. Because of that, effects that only apply to melee strikes stopped working when the damage came from Back Stab, such as the 10 SP recovery from the Ground Exterminator Card.
- Now Back Stab counts as a melee strike again, and those effects trigger normally. When wielding a bow, it is still a ranged attack, as it always was in the skill.
🏹 Luna Bow now drops from the Archer Guardian
- Until now the Luna Bow only came as an MVP prize from Sniper Cecil, a source that chewing gum and VIP do not speed up, so it could take months for one to show up.
- Now it also drops from the Archer Guardian, in Thor's Volcano, with a 0.08% chance. Since it is a regular drop, chewing gum, VIP and drop bonuses increase this chance normally.
- The MVP prize from Sniper Cecil remains. What changes is that the bow is no longer exclusive to her.
🍀 Fortune Creamy rewards whoever dealt the most damage
- The Fortune Creamy reward went to whoever landed the last hit, which turned the event into a race for the final blow.
- Now the prize goes to whoever dealt the most damage to the Creamy during the fight. Whoever actually carried the fight takes the reward, not someone who just touched it at the end.
🔒 Artisan: lock the Insignia you like before risking another
- On the Wanderer's Boots, each new Insignia attempt at the Artisan replaces the previous one. Anyone who already had a good Insignia and decided to try for a better one ran the risk of ending up with a worse one.
- Now you can lock the current Insignia before taking the risk. If the next attempts come out worse, just go back to the locked one for 3 Abyssalite, and keep trying whenever you want.
- The lock stays saved with you even if the server goes down, and applies only to that boot: the locked Insignia will never end up on another boot, no way.
- To lock or go back, keep only one copy of the boot in your backpack and store the other identical ones in storage. The Artisan tells you this right away.
📜 Enchant scrolls: Holy and Shadow for 30 minutes
- Two new scrolls enter the game, sealed by the Scribe, who has settled in the churchyard of Prontera.
- Aspersio Scroll: 1 Holy Water, 1 Feather and 1 Yggdrasil Leaf. Enchants the weapon with the Holy property for 30 minutes.
- Cursed Scroll: 1 Cursed Water, 1 Little Evil Horn and 1 Bone. Enchants the weapon with the Shadow property for 30 minutes.
- The Scribe seals in batches: bring as much material as you want and choose the quantity on the spot.
- Both scrolls can be traded between players.
- The scroll's enchantment does not coexist with that of an Elemental Converter or with Aspersio cast by a Priest: the last one you use erases the previous one.
💰 Zeny Shop: your little shop sells on its own and frees up your character
- Before, to keep a Zeny sales shop running, you used @autotrade and the character stayed stuck selling. The account was occupied the whole time, unable to play.
- Now, with the sales shop open, @autotrade releases a copy of your shop that keeps selling on its own. You do not disconnect: you keep playing normally with the same character and the same account.
- It works wherever you can already set up a shop. In Prontera, that means the trading spots.
- The Zeny from sales is yours: online, it arrives immediately; offline, it is saved and you receive it all together at your next login.
- The copy stays up for as long as 14 days, even with you offline, and comes back on its own after server restarts.
- To collect what is left and close the shop, just use @autotrade again. If the shop expires, the items stay stored waiting for you to recover them the same way.
👹 Stronger Vesper with a new sequence of strikes
- Vesper, the MVP of the Juperos Core, now has 70% more HP
- It also learned a two-strike sequence, always in this order: first a shockwave that bursts in an area around it, with high damage, and throws everyone nearby far away. Right after, with no gap, it pulls the target back to its body.
- In other words: the shockwave throws you far away and the pull brings you back into its reach. Keep an eye on the timing of the strike, because leaving the area guarantees nothing if you are the target of the pull.
🪓 Blacksmith gets a new Soul Link skill: Axe Vortex
- Under the effect of the Blacksmith Spirit, the Blacksmith gains a skill that only exists while the Soul Link is active: the Axe Vortex.
- You aim at a region of the ground up to 12 cells away, not at a target, and hurl axes over a 3x3 area. You can cast it even with nobody there: whoever is inside the area at the moment the casting ends takes the hit.
- Every enemy hit is dragged until it is 2 cells from you, no matter how far away it came from. It is the Blacksmith's way of pulling the fight into melee, where he is strong.
- Damage goes from 140% at level 1 to 300% at level 5, and comes out with the element of your weapon, so enchantments such as Flame Enchant work normally. It requires a one-handed or two-handed axe equipped.
- The casting and the cooldown are fixed: no equipment, card, status or amount of DEX shortens them.
- It cannot be used in War of Emperium.
- Monsters that do not move, such as plants and mushrooms, are not dragged.
🐾 Eternal Bond: feeding the pet no longer removes loyalty
- The Eternal Bond keeps the pet's hunger always full. However, feeding a stuffed pet removes 100 loyalty points, so anyone who used the Bond and fed out of habit lost loyalty without noticing, the pet stopped being Loyal and its bonus turned off.
- Now, with the Bond applied, the pet refuses the food and says it does not need to eat. No penalty.
- The Bond itself also now warns you, when used, that hunger stays full on its own and that you no longer need to feed that pet.
🏷️ Marketplace Cash: your listing's price can adjust itself
- You can now change the price of a listing that is already live, without having to cancel and list again. Talk to the Marketplace Manager, open My Items for Sale and choose the listing.
- Along with it came Smart Pricing: instead of a fixed value, you set a range and the price moves on its own while the listing is live. It is optional, listing by listing, and anyone who does not want it keeps a fixed price as always.
- Rises as it sells: on a listing with more than one unit, each unit sold goes up a step until the ceiling you choose. The last units sell for more than the first ones.
- Drops if it stalls: if nobody buys, the price goes down a step until the floor you choose. You set the pace (every day, every 2 days or every 3 days) and the Manager shows right away how much it drops with each option. Any sale restarts the count.
- Both can be on at the same time on a listing with several units: it rises when it sells, drops when it stalls.
- The price never goes above the ceiling or below the floor, and you can turn it off or reconfigure it whenever you want.
- On the website, buyers see a lowered badge, with the old price crossed out, and a lowest price notice when the listing has reached the floor. In your own shop you see the whole range and where the price sits within it.
- You always pay the value shown on the screen: if the price moves between you opening the listing and paying, the purchase does not go through and the Manager shows the new value, without charging anything.
⚔️ Two-Hand Quicken no longer drops when you change equipment
- With the Knight Spirit active, Two-Hand Quicken works with any weapon, not only with a two-handed sword. However, the effect dropped on its own as soon as you touched any piece of equipment: changing weapon, shield, accessory, any of them.
- The Soul Link's release only applied at the moment of casting. The check that runs afterward kept requiring a two-handed sword and turned the effect off.
- Now the effect is kept as long as the Soul Link is active, whatever weapon is equipped.
💠 Abyssalite Fragment: higher chance from the Necromancer
- The Necromancer dropped Abyssalite Fragment with half the chance of Kasa (0.24% versus 0.48%).
- Now both drop the fragment at the same rate: 0.48%.
🛡️ Impetuous Vambrace: refine bonus now requires +9 and is worth double
- The extra bonus of the Impetuous Vambrace kicked in at refine +7 and gave Attack Speed +1.
- Now it only starts at refine +9, but is worth Attack Speed +2.
- The base bonus of Attack Speed +1 stays the same, with no refine required.
🎓 Super Novice: the +10 bonus to all stats is now permanent
- The Super Novice's +10 to all stats bonus (from job 70) was lost on the character's first death and only came back by paying 100,000 Zeny to the Novice Angel, in Al De Baran, or 1 Abyssalite Fragment at level 99.
- Now the bonus is permanent: once job 70 is reached, it stays on the character forever, dying or not.
- Anyone who had already lost the bonus gets it back automatically, without paying anything.
- Since the death counter no longer matters, the Novice Angel was removed from the Super Novice guild.
🃏 MVP Cards get their own art
- The MVP cards and the Sealed MVP cards used exactly the same drawing as all the other cards in the game, and you could only tell what they were by reading the name.
- Now they have their own look: MVP cards became iridescent and Sealed ones became golden. It applies to the backpack icon and also to the card dropped on the ground, so you can recognize the drop from afar.
- 45 MVP cards and 36 Sealed cards are covered.
💍 Spiritual Ring: the set with Rosary now works with any rosary
- The Spiritual Ring set with Rosary only worked with the regular Rosary and the slotted version.
- Now it recognizes any rosary in the game: Rosary, Rosary [A], Black Rosary and Rachel's Rosary. The Hair Clip still works, as before.
- The set bonuses stay the same: Heal damage +50%, Corrupted Heal +50%, Magnus Exorcismus +30%, Lex Divina +20% and natural SP regeneration +9%.
🔩 Vila opens a slot on Rachel's Rosary
- Vila, the Gap Driller, now also works on Rachel's Rosary, which leaves the workbench with one card slot.
- The price is: 1 Golden Mystic Orb and 5 Abyssalite.
- You just need the rosary equipped in either of the two accessory slots. Refine, cards, Insignia and Abyss Orb stay where they are, as with every piece she opens.
🌸 Valhalla Flower drops less from the Valkyrie
- The Valhalla Flower dropped from the Valkyrie of the Odin Temple at 7%, a rate too high for a monster that already drops several good things in the same hunt. Since the flower sells for a lot to the NPC, the spot became a Zeny source well above what the rest of the dungeon yields.
- Now it drops at 2.5%. The Valkyrie's other drops stay the same.
