👑 Cheffenia: the endgame weapons are worth more
⚔️ Weapon base effect
The 16 Cheffenia weapons now add 20% damage to the skills each one boosts, instead of the previous 15%. It applies from the first refine, with no enchant needed.
💠 Stronger enchants
Every Mastery Enchant gained 15% damage, and every Supreme Mastery gained 30%, on top of what they were worth before. The second effect of the Supreme one stays the same.
- Mastery: from 40% to 75%, depending on the skill.
- Supreme Mastery: from 55% to 90%, plus the second effect.
In practice, a weapon refined to +9 with Supreme Mastery adds up to 110% damage on its skill, counting the base effect.
✨ New skills to choose from
- Pierce joins the Swordman, on Skyrend and Thalrion. It was the build's most used skill and no Cheffenia weapon covered it.
- Lex Divina joins the Acolyte, on Luminis.
- Occult Impaction joins the Acolyte, on Faithshard, next to Finger Offensive and Asura Strike.
All three appear both as Mastery and as Supreme Mastery. The draw decides the category of the Enchant; the skill, among the ones the weapon accepts, is your choice.
🗡️ Adjusted weapons
- Skyrend and Thalrion now add damage to Pierce, along with Brandish Spear and Tyr's Impact.
- Luminis now adds damage to Lex Divina and Corrupted Heal, along with Magnus Exorcismus.
🏆 Cheffenia Scoreboard
The board in Prontera gained a third ranking: who spent the most time inside the arena. It counts only the time with your character standing in there, and it shows up next to your kills and your vigor in "View my record".
🧵 Nyara: Save different builds for Cheffenia.
Nyara is in the Cheffenia hall, next to the Abyss Lapidary. She sews up to 3 different builds that apply only in there and in the boss room. Outside you go back to being exactly what you were, with nothing to undo.
It is not free points: the form has to fit the points you already have, so it is just another arrangement of the same attributes. Each stitching costs 3 Abyssalites, and redoing a form you had already stitched costs the same 3. Switching which of the three you wear costs nothing.
If you level up or redistribute your points and the saved form no longer fits, she warns you at the arena door and asks for a new one.
🔧 Other adjustments
🎒 Items
- God's Word: the recipe at the Star Divinity asked for 50 Queen Wing Pieces, which only drop from the Golden Scaraba Queen. Now it asks for 50 Old Branches, which drop from the Scarabas of the Hole.
- Dark Blindfold Costume: enters the Stylist, with 16 colors.
- Prestige Oni General Helm: it was wearing the wrong costume.
- Light of Recovery Insignia: now, besides changing the element of Corrupted Heal, it also changes the property of Lex Divina.
- Spy Mesh: no longer adds the knockback effect of Melody Strike and Slinging Arrow.
- Arrows: the Prontera Arrow Seller and the Eden Utilities Seller now also sell Steel, Crystal, Wind, Stone and Immaterial Arrows.
🗺️ Dungeons
- Egnigem Cenia (Laboratory) is stronger, and her respawn went up from 2 to 5 hours because she drops the Star item.
- The Episode 2 MVPs had their respawn adjusted to 4 hours. The two Queens of the Scaraba Hole, who share the same floor, go to 6 hours.
🛒 Black Market
The day's shipment now always arrives at 7 PM, on the hour. The old schedule drifted on its own every cycle and had ended up at 6 in the morning, when almost nobody is awake to see the showcase.
The showcase also stopped restocking and stayed empty for days. There were three scarcity locks fighting each other, which are now just one.
💳 New accounts and Cash
To prevent financial scams, the Cash Voucher obtained by accounts with less than 12 hours of playtime stays bound to the account: it can be used normally, but cannot be handed to another player.
The Cash Shop remains open: the account buys and uses its own Cash normally from the first minute. The lock exists because of the reversed top-up scam, which used a freshly created disposable account to drain the Cash before the chargeback landed.
⌨️ Commands
@bonusinfo now also shows the critical and cooldown bonuses that apply per skill.
⚡ Combat
When a skill crits, the same effect that the magic crit already showed now appears. Until now there was no way to tell that a skill had crit.
🩹 Fixes
- Expedition: handing in the material for a contract froze the kill counter of the map where you were hunting. The kills of each species kept going up and the total stayed stuck until you changed maps or relogged.
- Trail Lantern: it did not count kills in the rotating dungeons, because it locked onto the wrong monster when two of them used the same appearance.
- Back Stab: the Strip Shield of the Wanderer's Chinese Hat locked the combo because of the animation. The effect remains, the animation is gone. The same applied to the Steal of the Plunderer's Brooch.
- Greed Pouch: no longer inherits the cooldown of the Adventurer's Backpack.
- Costumes: ten pieces pointed to the wrong costume and crashed the client of anyone nearby.
- Oracle's Scarf: its area hit got in the way of the Spy Mesh's Encore.
- Provider's Ring: it did not restock White Potion or Compact Blue Potion when the potion was signed with the name of whoever made it. The signature still exists; it is the Provider that now works with it.
- Blightwalker: at +9 it promises to unlock the Back Stab crit and unlocked nothing at all.
- Furnace Set: Investigate was not coming out without a Spirit Sphere nor gaining the extra range.
- Final Puff: the extra area of the Explosive Mammonite did not apply.
- Spy Mesh: at +9, the double damage on the next hit of Musical Strike and Lucky Arrow did not apply.
The four had the same cause: the effect was registered on the wrong skill and never took effect.
