1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website reclassic.com.br, the Ragnarok ReClassic game server, and any related content, software, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Ragnarok ReClassic ("ReClassic", "we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account, downloading the client, accessing the website, or playing on the server, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or have explicit consent from a parent or legal guardian, to make purchases.
• You may not use the Service if you have been previously banned, or if the law prohibits you from doing so.

3. Account and Credentials

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and any activity that occurs under your account.
• Account sharing, selling, transferring, or trading accounts is prohibited. Accounts are non-transferable.
• You must provide accurate information during registration. Use of falsified data may result in suspension.
• We may require you to verify your identity before processing certain requests (refunds, recovery, etc.).
• We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account due to your failure to keep credentials secure.

4. Code of Conduct

Penalties are applied at the sole discretion of the ReClassic staff and are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to apply penalties with or without prior notice. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to:

4.1 Offensive Behavior

Verbal violence, offensive language, harassment, discriminatory speech (including racism, homophobia, transphobia, xenophobia, sexism), threats, defamation, or any rude behavior that harms the experience of other players.

4.2 Irregular Activity

The use of bots, macros, scripts, or any form of automation to play the game is strictly prohibited and results in permanent ban. Exploiting bugs, using third-party software to gain unfair advantage, packet manipulation, memory editing of the client, and any form of cheating are equally prohibited.

4.3 Inappropriate Names

Character, guild, or account names that are offensive, obscene, that promote drugs, hate, racism, or any discriminatory speech, that impersonate staff or well-known figures, or that violate third-party rights are prohibited and may be forcibly changed.

4.4 Real-Money Trading and Fraud

Selling in-game items, characters, accounts, or zeny for real money outside our official Marketplace Cash system is prohibited. Engaging in chargeback fraud, payment reversal abuse, or any attempt to defraud the Service or other players results in immediate termination and forfeiture of all virtual goods.

4.5 Other Prohibited Conduct

• Distribution of malware, phishing links, or scam attempts.
• Unauthorized access to other accounts.
• Spam, advertising of unrelated services, and disruptive behavior in chat.
• Sharing or distributing copyrighted material without authorization.
• Any attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or place an excessive load on the Service.

Penalties may include, depending on severity: warning, mute, item removal, temporary suspension, permanent ban of the character, account, or IP, and report to legal authorities when appropriate.

5. Virtual Goods and Cash Points

• License, not ownership. All virtual goods (cash points, items, characters, zeny, cosmetics, VIP benefits, etc.) are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use within the Service. You do not own them.
• No real-world value. Virtual goods have no monetary value outside the Service, are not redeemable for cash, and cannot be transferred to third parties for real consideration.
• Account-bound. Virtual goods are tied to your account and cannot be transferred between accounts except through mechanisms expressly provided by the game.
• Modification rights. We may add, modify, balance, or remove virtual goods, mechanics, or features at any time, including for reasons of game balance, abuse prevention, or operational necessity. No compensation is owed for such changes.
• Forfeiture. Upon termination of your account, for any reason, all virtual goods associated with the account are forfeited without compensation.

6. Refunds

Because virtual goods are delivered digitally and immediately credited to your account upon payment confirmation, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable consumer-protection law.

Refund requests will be considered only in the following situations:

• Duplicate or incorrect charges.
• Failure to deliver the purchased product within a reasonable time.
• Where mandated by applicable law (such as a statutory cooling-off right) and only to the extent the virtual goods have not been consumed or used.

Refund requests must be submitted via the support channel within 7 days of the original transaction. Once virtual goods are used, transferred in-game, or spent, they are no longer eligible for refund.

Chargebacks initiated without first contacting our support are considered a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.

7. User-Generated Content

"User Content" means any content you submit, post, or transmit through the Service, including character names, in-game messages, guild names, support tickets, guides, builds, and comments.

• You retain ownership of your User Content but grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute it as necessary to operate and promote the Service.
• You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequence of submitting it.
• You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit the content and that it does not violate any third-party right or applicable law.
• We may remove, edit, or refuse any User Content at our discretion, without prior notice.

8. Suspension and Termination

• We may suspend or permanently terminate your account, restrict access, or remove characters and virtual goods, at our sole discretion, with or without prior notice, in case of violation of these Terms.
• You may stop using the Service at any time. To request account deletion, contact us via the channel in Section 17.
• Upon termination, all licenses granted to you under these Terms cease immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as Sections 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 13, 14, and 15) will survive.
• No refund is owed for unused virtual goods or remaining VIP time when termination results from your violation of these Terms.

9. Service Availability and Modifications

• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or a specific level of uptime.
• We may, at any time and at our discretion: modify game mechanics, balance changes, server settings, the website, or any feature; conduct maintenance; perform partial or total resets; suspend, restrict, or discontinue any portion of the Service.
• We may, at our sole discretion, permanently shut down the server. In such event, no compensation is owed for virtual goods, and we will provide reasonable advance notice when possible.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, or absence of bugs. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any defects will be corrected.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

• We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, virtual goods, characters, reputation, or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.
• Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the six (6) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or BRL 100.00, whichever is greater.
• Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitation of liability for certain damages; in such cases, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted by law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReClassic, its operators, volunteers, staff, and partners from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any third-party right; or (d) any content you submit.

13. Intellectual Property

• Ragnarok Online and all its associated assets, characters, sprites, music, and trademarks are the property of Gravity Co., Ltd. and its licensors. ReClassic is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Gravity Co., Ltd.
• Custom content created by ReClassic (custom items, custom NPCs, scripts, custom sprites, this website, the wiki, original artwork) is the property of ReClassic and protected by copyright.
• Except as expressly permitted by these Terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or create derivative works of any part of the Service.

14. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for any failure or delay in the performance of our obligations resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, internet or power outages, telecom failures, denial-of-service attacks, governmental actions, labor disputes, or failures of third-party providers.

15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city where the operator is established, except as otherwise required by consumer-protection law.

16. Modifications to These Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the website. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of the changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

17. Miscellaneous

• Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
• Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
• Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms. We may assign ours upon notice.
